Youth Ambassador

The Role of a Youth Ambassador is to assist JDRF in educating the community about what it is like living with type 1 diabetes (T1D). As a representative of JDRF, Youth Ambassadors are trained to effectively communicate JDRF’s mission, “working to remove the impact of T1D from people’s lives until we achieve a world without T1D.”

To qualify, the applicant must:
* Have type 1 diabetes
* Be willing to share his/her personal story in front of large groups and the media
* Have a positive outlook on life and diabetes!
